Manchester City bounced back from their disappointing exit from the Champions League to Real Madrid with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinals on Saturday evening.
After a scoreless first half, City winger Bernardo Silva broke the deadlock in the 70th minute, curling a low shot into the bottom corner from just outside the area. Chelsea had numerous chances to equalize but failed to convert their opportunities, allowing City to secure their place in the final.
The win keeps City's hopes of a domestic double alive, as they are already assured of the Premier League title. Pep Guardiola's team will face Liverpool in the FA Cup final, which will be held at Wembley Stadium on May 29th.
